Arm Lifts

Is an arm lift right for me?

An arm lift is an excellent operation for women and men whose arms have become saggy and who want to restore their shape and have prettier or better shaped arms. It may also be the right procedure for those with arms of different sizes.
It is a popular cosmetic operation in the greater Atlanta area and across the USA. Why? Naturally we want to feel confident about our bodies and look good in our clothes. Most people are very pleased with this operation which is why it remains so popular.

How long does arm lift take?

The surgery takes on average 2-3 hours. You are asleep for the surgery and will recover in a few days. You can start walking to keep fit as soon as your energy returns.

What about incisions?

You have several choices – short scars? Long scars? With liposuction? Without? It can get confusing. Dr. Morgan will explain everything during your consultation and help you decide what is best for you. Plus we give you everything in writing. There’s nothing to worry about.

Will exercise work as well as surgery?

Surgery does what exercise can’t do for you. It permanently removes excess skin and improves the contour of your arm.

Recovery?

After your arm lift, you will be tired for several days but have little pain. You will wear a support bandage for 4-6 weeks. It keeps you comfortable and helps healing.

Can other procedures be done at the same time?

Yes indeed. Liposuction, tummy tucks, arm lifts, face lifts can all be done at the same time.

Is arm lift covered by insurance?

This is a cosmetic procedure. You are responsible for the fee. We will help you figure out how to make it as easily affordable as possible. We look forward to seeing you.

What causes my arm tissues to sag?

Sometimes it runs in the family. At other times, it is from sun damage, weight loss or from an athlete becoming less active. Most often, it is ‘idiopathic’, medical jargon for ‘we don’t have an explanation.’

What about risks?

Everything we do in life has a certain risk. Complications are very uncommon and most are minor. It’s easy to find out more about the procedure. Just call us or send us a message using our contact link on this web site.
